E Transfer Policy 2023-24
The Punjab Government has approved the e-Transfer Policy 2023-24 for teachers in Punjab. The policy aims to improve transparency, service delivery, and eliminate discretion and authority abuse. Teachers can be posted anywhere against their cadre posts, and merit-based criteria will be used to fill vacant posts. Online transfer applications can be made through the School Information System (SIS), and teachers must provide original documents to the District Education Authority (DEA) for verification. Tentative merit lists, objections, and final merit lists will be displayed on the SIS Portal. Teachers can also raise objections against their own merit or on the merit of other teachers. QR coded transfer orders will be generated for selected candidates.
